RALLY SET FOR SUCCESS WITH POKERSTARS SPONSORSHIP

Manx Auto Sport Limited is delighted to announce that PokerStars, the worlds leading online poker room is to be the new principal sponsor of its November Rally.

PokerStars is the world’s largest poker site and the home of tournament poker. It’s where you’ll find the action running non-stop and the widest selection of games. It’s a fun and safe place to play poker with people from around the world, for real or play money.

It’s home to the biggest weekly online tournament – the Sunday Million- plus the annual World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). It’s also where you can qualify for events like the European Poker Tour (EPT), PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) and many more.

PokerStars is even in the record books for hosting the biggest ever online poker tournament and the highest number of people playing at once. For further information on PokerStars visit www.pokerstars.com.

Becca Cubbon, Head of Reward & Management Information Human Resources expressed the company’s delight in sponsoring the event, “We are extremely committed to the Isle of Man and are grateful for all the support that we have received since our arrival in 2005. We are delighted to be involved with Manx Auto Sport and proud to be sponsoring the November event as we celebrate our fifth anniversary on the Island. We believe our sponsorship is a great way of putting something back into such a local event and the community.”

“It is great to have found such a high profile new sponsor for our November event. The involvement of PokerStars is very welcoming and we hope it will increase public awareness of our event and the rallying talent that we have on the island”, says Manx Auto Sport Chairman Mark Ellison. “We thank PokerStars for their support and we very much look forward to working with them”.

The event, to be known as the PokerStars Asphalt Rally, will run on November 12/13 2010 as the final round of the Eurocars Motorsport Manx Rally Championship.

The route will cover approximately 90 competitive stage miles around the Island, entirely on tarmac public roads, which are specially closed for the event.

The format of the event will consist of 6 stages on Friday, followed by a further 8 stages on the Saturday.

Regulations and entries forms for the event will be available from end of August/beginning of September. Please visit www.manxautosport.org for the latest information.
